Among the "pre-Amiga" Commodore computers were the C-64. During the eighties the C-64 was established as the most popular home computer. In fact, according to the Guinness Book Of Records 2001, the C64 is the best-selling computer ever with around 30 million units sold from the launch in 1982 to the machines' dying twitch in 1993. The most incredible thing is that it's probably the only computer that's been in production for more than 10 years without any major technical improvements.
